Serb List on the arrest in Gorazdevac: Kurti's regime is doing everything to silence the Serbs or make them disappear

The arrest and detention of Serb Luka Zlaticanin from Gorazdevac for singing songs has caused bitterness among Serbs across Kosovo, especially since the Kosovo Police have not been as diligent and professional in handling dozens of reports when Serbs, their property, or the Serb Orthodox Church are attacked, according to the statement from the Serb List.
"Albin Kurti's regime is doing everything to silence or eliminate Serbs from these areas, using the institutions they control to do so. These are the same institutions that arrest Serbs for singing songs, yet have not provided an answer to the question of who is responsible for the brutal murder and wounding of Serbian children in Gorazdevac," the Serb List emphasizes.
The Serb List demands that Zlaticanin be granted the right to defend himself while at liberty and calls on international representatives to pay more attention to what they describe as "politically motivated charges."
"Considering that Mr. Zlaticanin is a family man who has never left his Gorazdevac, we demand that he be immediately granted the right to defend himself from freedom, as it is shameful that he is in detention, separated from his family, just for singing songs. We also demand that international representatives pay more attention to politically motivated charges, especially as elections are approaching, and the regime in Pristina, lacking success in any sphere of society, will compensate for its ratings by harassing Serbs," the Serb List concludes.
