The Serb List: Atiq wants to move the premises of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija, the Pension and Disability Insurance Fund, and the Kosovo District from North Mitrovica

The Serb List announced that today the police and municipal inspectors in North Mitrovica, on the order of Mayor Erden Atiq, entered the building where the premises of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija, the Provincial Pension and Disability Insurance Fund, and the Kosovo-Mitrovica Administrative District are located in Bosniak Mahala, with, as they said, the order to "free up" that facility, because it is owned by the municipality

This, they say from the Serb List, is the continuation of the mistreatment of the Serbs.

"Today, at the request of the illegal, illegitimate, and fake Mayor of North Mitrovica who won 3 percent of the votes, a group of police officers and municipal inspectors entered the building where the premises of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija, the Provincial Pension and Disability Insurance Fund, as well as the Kosovo - Mitrovica administrative district, in the Bosniak Mahala settlement in Kosovska Mitrovica, and on that occasion they asked based on which document these institutions are located in that building, because according to them it is owned by the municipality, and there they told the employees that they had an order to 'free up' that and all other facilities that are owned by the municipality, and that they will come again on Monday,” the announcement of the Serb List said.

This, they emphasize, is clearly the beginning of further mistreatment of citizens, because the list of buildings that Kosovo institutions consider their own includes buildings that house hospitals, health centers, schools, faculties, universities...

"This threat is absolutely a part of the plan to expel all the Serbs from Kosovo and Metohija, to deprive citizens of their right to work, but also to prevent the provision of services to citizens of Kosovo and Metohija of all nationalities who survive thanks to the support of the state of Serbia through the competent institutions," the Serb List stated.

They also note that the chief negotiators of the European Union, Miroslav Lajcak, and other international representatives have been informed about this, as well as other actions directed against the Serbs, but that there has been no reaction so far.

"The international community must urgently stop the actions that threaten the peace in the north of Kosovo and Metohija and prevent Kurti and his henchmen from expelling the Serbs from Kosovo and Metohija. The international community, above all the European Union, must clearly speak out and say whether this is an action that means de-escalation because the Serbs consider it to be an additional escalation on the ground," the Serb List concludes.
