Today’s brutal raid on Serbian institutions in Leposavic and Strpce, along with the mistreatment of employees, represents yet another in a series of attempts by Pristina to make life increasingly difficult for the Serbian people in Kosovo and Metohija through pressure, provocation, and institutional violence, the Serb List said in a statement.

"It is obvious that this move by the outgoing government in Pristina is a calculated attempt to divert attention from its own inability to ensure political stability and elect a speaker of the assembly. Instead of addressing the urgent issues facing their own citizens, they continue their campaign of pressure and intimidation against the Serbs," the Serb List emphasized.

The statement continues: "Raids on institutions such as the Pension and Disability Insurance Fund, the National Employment Service, the municipal utility company, and the Republic Health Insurance Fund, which form the backbone of our people’s survival in these areas, constitute a direct violation of all agreements, including the Brussels Agreement, and clearly demonstrate that Pristina’s goal is the complete expulsion of Serbs and the erasure of everything that bears the marks of Serbian identity."

"Serb List calls on the international community, especially the European Union, the Quint embassies, UNMIK, KFOR, and EULEX, to finally protect the basic human rights of the Serbian people and stop Pristina’s unilateral and violent actions. The Serbian people remain united and firmly committed to staying on their land, despite all the pressure. Raids on buildings will not stop the state of Serbia from standing by all employees and service users of these institutions, which provided services to all citizens regardless of nationality," the statement concluded.
