Serb List: Kurti has shown that he does not want Serbian institutions, the Community of Serb Municipalities, and Serbs in Kosovo

The President of the Serb List, Zlatan Elek, emphasized that today's raid on the institutions of the Republic of Serbia has shown that Albin Kurti does not want Serbian institutions, the Community of Serb Municipalities, or Serbs in Kosovo, especially in the north.
"Today it was clearly visible that Kurti does not want Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija. This is yet another attempt at ethnic cleansing of Serbs from Kosovo and Metohija, especially from the north," he emphasized.
Elek, during a press conference, stated that this is not about parallel institutions, but about the institutions of the Republic of Serbia, which are the backbone for the formation of the Community of Serb Municipalities according to the Brussels Agreement from 2013 and 2015.
"Kurti has shown that he does not want the institutions of the Republic of Serbia, the Community of Serb Municipalities (CSM), or Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija, especially in the north," he stressed.
Elek pointed out that the situation in the north is alarming after the special unit of the Kosovo police raided all the buildings of the Republic of Serbia.
He reported that the police raided the provisional authorities of Kosovska Mitrovica, Zubin Potok, Zvecan, and Leposavic, the sports hall in Zubin Potok, the Pension and Disability Insurance Fund (PIO Fund) in North Mitrovica, the premises of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija, and the Kosovska Mitrovica district, as well as the Public Utility Company "Zvecan."
He added that the most heinous raid was on the Clinical Center, where the boiler room and laundry room were searched.
"This time, as on many occasions before, we did not see either EULEX or KFOR. It was clearly visible that Albin Kurti does not want Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija, and this is an attempt at ethnic cleansing of Serbs from Northern Kosovo," Elek emphasized.
Milovic: Despite warnings not to heat up the atmosphere in the north – Kurti is doing just that
The Vice President of the Serb List, Dragisa Milovic, stated that the arrival of the police in northern Kosovo has only one goal – to intimidate the people so that they leave.
"Unfortunately, what we have been saying all these years, the obliteration of everything Serbian, everything that smells like Serbia, continues," Milovic emphasized and added that special police units with long guns are stationed at every intersection.
He stated that, despite everything that Pristina is doing, the Serbs will not leave Kosovo, but they demand an answer from international representatives – whether they support Albin Kurti's actions and whether they have become accomplices in the ethnic cleansing of Serbs.
He added that they are also asking for help from the state of Serbia and President Aleksandar Vucic.
"We are in our own country, on our own properties, in our own homes, and we will not leave. We are concerned, but we will not leave, because we must persevere so that our children have a future in these areas," Milovic said.
He pointed out that all of Pristina's unilateral actions are taking place at a time when the highest officials of security structures from the West are present in the region, reminding of the visits by the CIA director and a NATO admiral.
"Despite all the warnings that the atmosphere in the north should not be heated, Kurti is doing just that," Milovic stressed.
Therefore, he announced that they would seek a meeting with KFOR, EULEX, UNMIK, and the Quint ambassadors to tell them whether they support Kurti's actions and whether they are accomplices in ethnic cleansing.
He also addressed the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, saying that the Serbs in Kosovo need protection.
"We are here and will remain here, but we must expect the support of the state, the Government of Serbia," Milovic stated.
The police today, shortly after 5 p.m., raided the building of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija, which also houses the headquarters of the Kosovska Mitrovica district, as well as the premises of the Provincial PIO Fund. The special forces also entered the hospital complex of the Clinical and Hospital Center of Kosovska Mitrovica.
In Leposavic, the police raided the former committee building, which houses the Provisional Authority of Leposavic Municipality, the Academy of Vocational Studies of Kosovo and Metohija, the Urosevac and Leposavic department, and the Institute for Serbian Language and Culture, where they broke down the doors that were locked.
Kosovo special forces also raided the building of the PUC "Zvecan," which houses the Provisional Authority of that municipality.
