The Serb List representatives met today with the Under-Secretary-General for Peace Operations, Jean-Pierre Lacroix, the Head of UNMIK, Caroline Ziadeh, and the Head of Mitrovica Regional UNMIK Office, Danilo Rosales Diaz, and during the meeting, they pointed out the repression of the Albin Kurti regime towards Serbs, especially in northern Kosovo.
According to the statement released by the Serb List, the UN officials were informed about the real danger that peace in this region might be jeopardized by the unilateral actions of Pristina and the forcible entry into Serbian municipality buildings in northern Kosovo.
"It was emphasized that our people are committed to peace, that dialogue is the only way to resolve all outstanding issues, and that the responsibility lies with the international community to preserve that peace and prevent Pristina's unilateral actions, but also that we are determined to defend the right to survival and staying in our homes with our fellow countrymen," it is written in the Serb List's statement.
