A delegation of the Serb List met today with Emanuele Giaufret, Director for Western Europe at the European External Action Service, to discuss the current situation and the position of the Serbian people in Kosovo.

According to a statement issued by the Serb List, particular attention during the meeting was devoted to the issue of solutions related to documents and vehicles. It was emphasized that the agreed solution must be implemented as soon as possible and in full in practice, in order to facilitate the daily lives of citizens as much as possible, as well as to simplify the process and prevent the obstruction of the solution through the imposition of additional requirements on citizens.
The Serb List delegation requested greater engagement from the European Union in resolving these issues, as well as in improving the overall respect for the rights and position of the Serbian people.
They also pointed to numerous problems in the functioning of local self-governments, violations of the rights of the Serbian people, and the need for consistent implementation of all agreements reached to date, particularly those relating to the establishment of the Association of Serb-majority Municipalities in accordance with the Brussels agreements.
“The Serb List remains committed to protecting the interests of the Serbian people and will continue to insist on the full implementation of agreed solutions, always bearing in mind the interests of our people and their right to survival and to remain in these areas,” the statement added.
