The Serb List: The murder of 14 Serb harvesters was a planned crime that happened before the eyes of KFOR and UNMIK
The Serb List reminded that today marked the 24th anniversary of the massacre of 14 Serb harvesters in the village of Staro Gracko, not far from Lipjan, and that no one had been held accountable for that, as well as many other crimes against the Serbs.
According to the statement of the Serb List, in one day, 14 Serbian civilians were killed in an apparently planned and well-organized crime in front of tens of thousands of KFOR soldiers and thousands of UNMIK policemen.
"In this monstrous crime, four members of the Janicijevic family died, Slobodan, Mile, Momir, and Novica, who was only 17 years old. Andrija Odalovic, brothers Jovica and Rade Zivic, Stanimir and Bosko Djekic, Sasa and Ljubisa Cvejic, Nikola Stojanovic, Miodrag Tepsic and Milovan Jovanovic were also killed," the Serb List said.
The Serb List says that the competent Kosovo institutions have never found those responsible for the desecration of the cemeteries where the Serb harvesters were buried.
"With the desire to inflict pain again and again on the families of those killed, the cemetery where the Serb harvesters are buried has been desecrated several times, and the competent institutions, just as they have not found their killers, have never found those who desecrated the cemetery where they rest. As usual, the leaders of Kosovo's institutions today will not remind the public about this suffering of innocent Serbs, in order to preserve the narrative that only the Albanians are victims and the Serbs are criminals, in the hope that with the passage of time, this monstrous crime will be forgotten, and those responsible will never be brought to justice," the Serb List adds.
They point out that the Serbs can only recall, remember, and ask the international community to demand Kosovo institutions to find and punish the perpetrators of this crime.
"In the hope that this kind of crime will never happen again," the Serb List said.
