Serb List submits candidate list for elections: We will fight for the rights of our people in Kosovo and Metohija
Serb List announced today that it has submitted its list of candidates for the upcoming parliamentary elections scheduled for February 9, 2025, in Kosovo, according to a statement from the party.
As stated, representatives of the Serb List will fight for the rights of Serbs in Kosovo. On the occasion of submitting the list, they also released a video on Facebook.
"We promised you that we would fight by all democratic means for the rights of our people in Kosovo and Metohija, that we would fight for survival and the continuation of life in these areas, and that we would never give up or back down in the face of those who do not wish well for our people. Today, as always, I stand with the Serbian people, with my comrades-in-arms, on the list of Serbian unity and solidarity, a list featuring 48 names, many of which are new. I am honored and pleased that our deans, professors, esteemed doctors, and judges have joined the Serb List during this most challenging moment in the fight for the interests of the Serbian people in Kosovo and Metohija," the statement reads.
It is also mentioned that Dragica Gasic from Djakovica is included on the list.
"This list, as you can see, includes our Serbian heroine Dragica Gasic, who is the only Serb living in Djakovica and who, through her personal example and courage, shows how we should fight for the interests of the Serbian people in Kosovo and Metohija. Today, as you can see, we are gathered here from all parts of Kosovo and Metohija, determined to fight for 10 parliamentary seats, and we are confident we will win all ten seats designated for the Serbian community. For Milos, Nikola, Kristijan, Dara, and Stefan, and for all our unjustly imprisoned brothers, we are entering this democratic battle stronger than ever because we know what we are defending and fighting for. And finally, long live Serbian solidarity, long live Serbian unity, long live the Serb List, and long live the state of Serbia," the statement from the Serb List concludes.
