Serbs in Leposavic: The State of Serbia stood behind us, we are grateful that we moved to Serbian institutions
In the hall of the Leposavic Municipal Assembly, the Serbs who left Pristina's institutions today signed contracts on resolving their employment status with the state of Serbia, through the Office for Kosovo and Metohija.
The payment of slaries will begin in December, as announced earlier today by the Office for Kosovo and Metohija.
"The state of Serbia has shown that it stands firmly by its people, which means a lot to us for further work and survival in these areas. We are grateful that we have transferred to Serbian institutions and in this way we have shown who we belong to, which is the state of Serbia," Dragana Vukasinovic – Petrovic said for Kosovo online. She is one of many who left Pristina's institutions in recent days.
Samir Vlasaj also says that he is grateful to the country of Serbia, in which, he points out, they have always believed.
"I would like to thank the state of Serbia, we believed in it, it stood behind us and our moves. We thank the Office for Kosovo and Metohija, President Vucic, the municipal leadership. This means a lot to us, it means that we stay and survive in these areas," he said.
Irena Petrovic, one of the signatories of today's contracts, says that she is happy to be integrated into the institutions of the Republic of Serbia.
"In this way, I want to thank our president Aleksandar Vucic on behalf of myself and my colleagues and the people, who showed with this gesture and action that the state of Serbia is always with our people. They motivated us to survive and stay in these areas of our holy Kosovo and Metohija. We are very grateful and happy to be integrated into the state institutions of the Republic of Serbia," Petrovic said.
Serbs who have left the institutions will have all obligations from labor and legal relations, pension and health insurance regulated, in accordance with the valid regulations of the Republic of Serbia.
