Spahiu: Diaspora votes could determine who will be in power

Political analyst Nexhmedin Spahiu stated for Kosovo Online that although voter turnout among the diaspora is generally not high, the votes of these voters could be decisive in the upcoming parliamentary elections on February 9 in determining who will be in power.

He also noted that Albin Kurti has the most support within the diaspora.

"Albin Kurti has an absolute majority of support among the diaspora, with some support for the opposition parties, the Democratic League of Kosovo and the Democratic Party of Kosovo, though to a lesser extent. Although the diaspora is large, the percentage of those who vote is not that high, but it could still determine who will be in power. Therefore, the diaspora has significance in the elections," Spahiu explained.
