Tahiri: Kurti is sending Kosovo into the abyss; elections the only way out

The head of the parliamentary group of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo, Besnik Tahiri, said that this party would not participate in the voting of any law in the Assembly, assessing that Kosovo was at a dead end, and that the actions and statements of members of the government of Albin Kurti were scandalous, reports Reporteri.

"As a parliamentary group, today we did not participate in the work of the Presidency (Parliament) and we will not participate in voting at all levels, starting with the Presidency, Commissions and sessions. The reason is simple, the country is at an impasse. The only way out is to call elections, there are no other ways." he said.

Tahiri stated that Kurti had isolated Kosovo.

"He is stuck in his cabinet and is sending Kosovo into the abyss, it has to stop. The only way to stop it is to go back to our petition and go to the elections," he said.

Tahiri assessed the latest statements that came from members of the government as "scandalous".

"As for the statements of the members of the Government of Kosovo, they are still scandalous," Tahiri said.
