The UNMIK Mission in Kosovo stated that it is aware of the recent arrests and deportation of four Serbs from Kosovo and has called for respect for human rights and legal procedures.
In a response to Kosovo Online, they said they are closely monitoring the situation.
"UNMIK is aware of the recent arrests and deportations and urges that all actions be guided by human rights standards. Legal procedures must be fully respected. UNMIK continues to closely monitor the situation," the mission stated.
As a reminder, four Serbs were deported from Kosovo and banned from entering the territory for the next five years. The individuals in question are employed by the Serbian Ministry of Internal Affairs.
