Vucevic with Bratu about the situation in Kosovo: Pristina is making the position of Serbs more difficult every day
Serbian Prime Minister Milos Vucevic met today with the head of the OSCE Mission in Serbia, Jan Bratu, to discuss the position of national minorities in Serbia and the current situation in Kosovo.
According to a statement, Vucevic emphasized that the Serbian government is particularly committed to addressing all challenges that minorities may face through dialogue, highlighting the high representation of minorities in the country's political and democratic processes.
He also expressed concern about the current situation in Kosovo and the unilateral actions taken by Pristina, which, rather than calming tensions, are making the position of the Serbian community in the southern Serbian province more difficult each day.
Vucevic informed his counterpart about the "terror of Kurti’s regime, which the Serbian people have been continuously subjected to."
He added that Serbia remains committed to maintaining peace and stability in the interest of the entire region.
Prime Minister Vucevic also emphasized that the cooperation with this international organization, since its establishment in Serbia, is an example of a strong partnership and has provided significant support in nearly all major reform processes in the country.
He thanked the OSCE Mission in Serbia for its constructive cooperation and support in strengthening institutions and the civil sector, promoting the rule of law, enhancing human and minority rights, and encouraging dialogue at both national and regional levels.
