The Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of Serbia and Minister of Defense Milos Vucevic told Kosovo Online that the statement by the representative of the Democratic Party of Kosovo Hisen Berisha that "Kosovo is ready for war if its integrity and sovereignty are violated" was just another dangerous provocation by which Pristina was trying to drag Serbia into conflicts, as well as to intimidate all Serbs in the territory of Kosovo and Metohija, in order to create an ethnically pure territory.

Vucevic points out that Serbia's policy is based on peace and coexistence of Serbs and Albanians.

"Our position is clear, the policy of Serbia led by the President of the Republic Aleksandar Vucic and the Government of Serbia is based, above all, on peace and coexistence of Serbs and Albanians, on political dialogue, reaching agreements, which as a responsible country we have shown and proven countless times times," said the minister.

Vucevic told the Albanian politicians who make these dangerous statements and threats that they should know and be aware that the borders of Serbia are known and that, according to Resolution 1244 of the United Nations Security Council, they are at Shara and Prokletije.

"We will never allow the Serbian people in Kosovo and Metohija to remain unprotected, and that's why they need to know that Serbia is not a punching bag, and that, unlike ten years ago, economically, but also in every other sense, it is much stronger and stronger," concluded Vucevic.
