Starovic: As long as the EU rewards Pristina, Kurti will be encouraged to continue with his unilateral destabilizing moves
Nemanja Starovic, State Secretary in the Serbian Ministry of Defense, says that Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti has dismissed the Management Team responsible for the establishment of the Community of Serb Municipalities, under the 2013 and 2015 agreements.
Starovic stated on Twitter that the EU spokesman Peter Stano had said that such a move "violates the letter and spirit of the agreement from the dialogue."
"But as long as the EU keeps rewarding Pristina with visa liberalization and the initiation of procedures for membership in the Council of Europe, it will be mere empty talk and Kurti will be encouraged to proceed with his unilateral destabilizing moves," Starovic says.
Minister of Local Government Administration Elbert Krasniqi announced yesterday that he had dismissed the members of the Management Team responsible for drafting the Draft Statute of the Community of Serb Municipalities.
"After yesterday's presentation in Brussels of the Draft Statute of the Community of Serb-majority Municipalities, according to the responsibilities given to the Management Team by the Brussels agreements of 2013 and 2015, this team is now without status. Therefore, today, May 3, 2023, I decided to dismiss the members of this Management Team, which are Danijela Vujicic, Jelena Bolovic, Igor Kalamar, and Dejan Radojkovic," Krasniqi said.
