Vucic with Bocan-Harcenko on the security situation in Kosovo and Metohija
The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, met with the Ambassador of the Russian Federation, Aleksandar Bocan-Kharchenko, who presented him with a congratulatory message from President Vladimir Putin on the occasion of the upcoming New Year and Christmas holidays.
Thanking for the message, President Vucic expressed the hope that Serbian-Russian relations, as well as the friendship between the two peoples, will continue to strengthen while wishing that peace and prosperity returned to the soil of the whole of Europe, as stated in the press release from the Presidency.
The President reiterated the importance that Serbia gave to Russia's principled position when it came to the territorial sovereignty and integrity of our country, introducing Ambassador Harcenko to the security situation in Kosovo and Metohija and the need to provide the Serbian population there with a peaceful life and honoring of their rights.
President Vucic and Ambassador Bocan-Harcenko also discussed relations between Serbia and Russia, global challenges, and expectations for 2023.
