President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, asked today how those who were arming the Albanians in Kosovo and the KSF in violation of Resolution 1244 and who were violating the Charter of the United Nations thought that they would never be held accountable for it.

Speaking about the Banjska case, Vucic stated that those who had committed certain criminal acts would be held accountable before the law, but he also posed questions: "Who is arming the Albanians against Resolution 1244, who is violating the Charter of the United Nations, how have they violated it, and how dare they violate the UN Charter, thinking they will never be held accountable for it?"

"I am thinking about how not to put the country in a difficult position, but international law must still be respected. You are not interested in what foreigners are doing against Serbia, what the Albanians are doing against Serbia, what Kurti is doing against Serbia. You are interested in how to punish Serbia because some Serbs wanted to defend their homes. Yes, since they have committed certain criminal acts, they will be accountable before the law. That is the job of relevant state authorities. They will find out exactly which criminal acts were committed, and they will be prosecuted for it. But when I see what kind of tools and weapons they brought... They say there were rocket-propelled grenades, rifles, single-shot hand-held grenade launchers. So, you brought 'Javelins', all unlawfully. You brought all those grenade launchers that attach to vehicles in Kosovo, all unlawfully, and you are not held accountable for anything. You can get away with it, you are big and strong. And you, Vucic, pretend to be ignorant of what is happening. I am the president of this country; my job is to defend and protect this country, to protect our people in Kosovo and Metohija, which I will continue to do," Vucic said during the inspection of the reconstruction works of the Multifunctional Center for Creativity and Innovation, Lozionica.

As he emphasizes, he does not wait for anyone from abroad to pass judgment on the will of the Serbs.

"For me, the judgment of my people is of crucial importance, not the judgment of great powers that want to undermine our country because they don't like our attitude towards Kosovo, because they don't like our relationship with Russia or China. You love to quote Viola von Cramon, Klemen Groselj, and all the worst haters of Serbia. Is there a single one of them who doesn't insist that we must recognize Kosovo? No. Is there a single one of them who doesn't insist that we must immediately impose sanctions on Russia? None. Is there a single one who hasn't signed all the worst things about us after Banjska? They are always against Serbia, and they have always signed everything against us," Vucic said.
