Vucic: I reiterated to Hill Serbia's consistent position in protecting the Serbian population in Kosovo.

President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, today met with the US Ambassador to Belgrade, Christopher Hill, and conveyed that Serbia is making every effort to find a sustainable solution to protect the Serbian population in Kosovo and preserve its national interests.

"I reiterated Serbia's consistent position, which continues to make every effort to find a sustainable solution to protect the Serbian population in Kosovo and preserve our national interests. We confirmed our joint commitment to further improving Serbian-American relations," Vucic stated on his Instagram account.

He described the conversation with Ambassador Hill as substantive and open.

"A substantive and open conversation with Ambassador Christopher Hill about the continuation of the dialogue with Pristina, the situation in the region, current geopolitical developments, and bilateral cooperation between Serbia and the United States," Vucic said.
