President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, stated today at a gathering in Pozarevac that Kosovo is part of Serbia and that, for Serbia, it is the "Holy Scripture."

Vucic said that one of the goals of foreign pressures—something that some, as he claims, do not even try to hide—is to finally complete what they started in 2008 together with "political servants" in Serbia when they declared Kosovo's independence: to ensure Kosovo's final independence.

"Our duty is to say no. We will uphold the Constitution and keep Kosovo within Serbia. Kosovo and Metohija are an integral part of Serbia; it is written in the Constitution, and for us, it is the Holy Scripture," Vucic emphasized.

He added that even that would not satisfy them, as they are also demanding Vojvodina.

"Vojvodina is Serbia, once and for all, and we will not give you anything that would destroy and break apart Serbia," Vucic declared.

He also pointed out that many abroad and in the region resent Serbia's progress, as it recorded the highest growth rate last year.

Vucic concluded by stating that Serbia needs stability and development.
