Vucic: The longest hour - the mistreatment of Danilo in Kosovo; I know Kurti ordered it

The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, admitted tonight that his longest hour, in his 11 years in power, was when his son, Danilo, was stopped in Kosovo on Vidovdan, and was detained for an hour in order not to be forced to take off his T-shirt with the inscription "Surrender is not an option", while he, despite being informed about all this as the president, could not do anything.

Vucic told for TV Pink that he knew that the mistreatment of Danilo was planned by Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti.

"It's all over in Gracanica, I'm thinking, he'll be fine when he comes back, and then you realize that Kurti organized it. They stopped them, threw them out of the car with the desire to take his shirt off. I'm following it live, but I can't do anything. Then the Albanian minister Svecla also lied that they took off his shirt, but in fact they took him out to take it off, he didn't want it, they pointed a rifle with long barrels at his face and chest. Imagine the father listening to all that and I know that Kurti ordered it directly. You know they pointed the guns at him, you know he won't take off his shirt, none of my guys will be able to force him, they ask me what to do, I say just come back alive and sound," said Vucic.

As he adds, that situation lasted, lasted, and it was the most difficult hour for him in the 11 years he has been in power.

"And let me tell you something else, that's life, I have to see Kurti afterwards. You can imagine how it feels for me to see him, to talk to him, and I know what he does to the Serbian people, what he wanted to do to someone just because his last name is Vucic, but I go and meet him and talk because I have to," said Vucic.

Vucic also pointed out that the watch, which he was accused of costing up to 500,000 euros, was a gift he received from Czech President Miloš Zeman, and said that he would give it to the first Serbian boy or girl born in Kosovo and Metohija in in 2024.

He said that he received that watch in 2019 from Zeman, reminding that he was the first official of a country that was in the NATO Alliance, who apologized for the aggression against Serbia in 1999.

The President read that the back of the watch was engraved "To Aleksandar Vucic, President of the Czech Republic, Miloš Zeman, 2019".

As he says, the watch is valued at 1,000 euros in Serbia, and he will buy it when a law is passed to make it possible, and then he will give it to the first child from Kosovo born in 2024.

Vucic specified that he would give the watch to the first Serbian child born in 2024 in Kosovo, whether it's a boy or a girl, even though it is a male watch.

"For him, it will have more value because it passed through the hands of two presidents," said Vucic, adding that for him that watch has a much greater sentimental than material value.
