Vucic: The occupation must come to an end, but we choose when

President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic, when asked what he would do specifically when he said that Serbia would protect the position of the Serbs, said that it was important and that he believed that the Serbs would do everything to always ensure that peace was preserved.

"I think this was the best picture that this was like the movie 'Occupation in 26 Pictures.' The best picture of fake democracy, not only Pristina but also those who support it. I think that people in Serbia, but also everyone in the region, whatever they thought about the Serbs, could see everything. Imagine that turnout of 0.3 percent for us in central Serbia, and we say we will manage the country," he explained.

Vucic said that the elections did not show what the twilight looked like, but darkness for democracy, how everything was allowed in order to humiliate the Serbs, and showed that the Serbs could never be so weak and Serbia so small that those who worked against Serbia and the Serbs were satisfied.

"It turned out that the Serbs are a strong, serious, and responsible people, who know how to protect their interests despite threats that are not small," he underlined.

Vucic said that he would talk with the representatives of the Serbs in Kosovo and that the most important thing was to preserve peace.

"An occupation must come to an end; we are the only ones who choose when. That is the advantage of this situation if there is an advantage. They decided to occupy both the people and the territory, a nation who do not want them, a territory where they have never been present. No occupation has ever ended well," he emphasized.

When asked what he meant by real dialogue, Vucic said that he constantly talked about it and that there was no real dialogue.

He pointed out that there was no dialogue when the other side, from Pristina, perceived Serbia as an enemy.

"Except for the fabricated, edited photos, I have never shaken hands with Albin Kurti in real life, let alone discussed serious matters. They have one condition, and that is the recognition of independence, everything is theirs, and we have nothing. In that, they have the support of the Quint," he said.

Vucic said that yesterday he had held dozens of conversations and exchanged hundreds of messages with representatives of the international community and that he would continue to do so.
