Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said that he would do his best to preserve peace and stability, stressing that Serbia continued its growth and progress.

"For me, the important news is that Serbia has continued its growth and progress, that our army is getting stronger, health care is getting stronger. That we are building and working, that we have not given up on any big project. That we are building roads and railways, that our salaries, pensions and minimum wages are growing rapidly," said Vucic in a video posted on "avucic" Instagram.

He emphasized that it was important that as many citizens as possible returned to Serbia.

"It is something that is continuity and with which we must continue. For which we must fight even harder. And that people can see and that their families have a future. That more people return to our country, because that is what is important," Vucic.

He added that he believed that during the year, the level of maternity leave for the first and second child would be increased from 12 to 15, that is, to 18 months.
"Let's help mothers with that. That's life, that's what you fight for, and what you live for," Vucic said.
