Mayor of Tetovo: Kosovo on its own doesn't make sense unless it becomes one state with Albania
All Albanians should unite into one Albania, Bilall Kasami, the Mayor of Tetovo and the leader of the "Besa" Movement, said this weekend from Istanbul. The event was attended by Kosovo's Minister of Internal Affairs Xhelal Svecla and Lulzim Jashari, the son of Adem Jashari.
Kasami participated in the "Epic of the KLA" event in Istanbul organized by the Albanians in Istanbul in memory of commander Adem Jashari and his family.
"Kosovo on its own doesn't make sense unless the ultimate goal is for it to be one Albania and to become one state together with Albania. Therefore, the foundation of the Jashari family is an example for the whole world on how to fight for freedom, justice, and human dignity," Kasami said in a speech to the Albanians in Istanbul, the Lajmi portal reports.
Regarding the same event, Kasami thanked the "Albanian League of Brotherhood in Turkey" on Facebook for the excellent organization in honor of the Jashari family and the KLA.
"Jashari's journey, the echo of a just war and a decisive moment in history, has uplifted not only Drenica, Kosovo, Tirana, Tetovo but also the Albanians in Turkey and Europe, in the US and around the world. It is an echo of sacrifice, Albanian dignity, and freedom, which brought Albanians closer to the path of freedom embodied by the legendary commander Adem Jashari," Kasami wrote.
