Sladjana Janicijevic from Berevce, in the Municipality of Strpce, will not be voting in the upcoming elections because, due to her illness, she has difficulty walking and is unable to travel to Kursumlija, where voting for the residents of the Strpce Municipality will take place.

Sladjana believes that her human rights, as well as the rights of all individuals in similar situations, are being violated.

"I am currently unable to go to the elections, although I used to vote; they used to come here for me to vote. I have difficulty moving. Our human rights are being violated. There are many people here who cannot vote, and I think that's not right", she said.

From today until Sunday, under normal circumstances, it is possible to register a person with a disability who cannot go to the polling station so that a part of the election board can come to their home address and enable them to vote.

However, this will not be possible for people with disabilities in Kosovo who have the right to vote in Serbia due to the Kosovo Government's ban on holding parliamentary elections in Kosovo.
