Leposavic: American KFOR soldiers were playing with children in front of the municipal building

In front of the Leposavic municipality building, where the Serbs have been peacefully protesting for 11 days due to the incursion of the Kosovo police and the entry of the new mayor into the municipal building, an unusual sight tonight - American members of KFOR were playing with children from Leposavic.

Although KFOR vehicles and a special police unit were only a few meters away, soldiers of the American contingent and children from Leposavic were throwing balls, and playing football and volleyball in a more relaxed atmosphere.

Two days earlier, American KFOR soldiers were also playing tug of war with the villagers of Leposavic.

For 10 days, the Serbs have been demanding that the Kosovo police withdraw from the north and that the newly elected mayor Lulzim Hetemi leave the municipal premises.
