In nine months, 11,000 Albanians entered Great Britain illegally

According to the data of the British Ministry of Internal Affairs, in the period from January to September of this year, more than 11,000 Albanians illegally entered Great Britain by boat, Gazeta Express news portal reports.

As reported by the portal albinfo.ch, this figure indicates an increase in the number of Albanians who decided to enter British soil in this way, as 815 cases were registered last year.

A total of 33,029 people entered British waters in rubber boats, of which 35 percent were Albanians, who then requested asylum on various basis. According to estimates, they are followed by Afghans, who account for 15 percent of cases.
