A rally in support of Sladjan Trajkovic was held in Kraljevo
A rally was held in Kraljevo tonight in support of former Kosovo policeman Sladjan Trajkovic, who was arrested in December last year on charges of alleged war crimes committed in Vucitrn in 1999, RTS reports.
Trajkovic was arrested on December 15, after he left the Kosovo police together with more than 500 colleagues in early November.
The family and enemies requested that Trajkovic defend himself from freedom, because, as they repeated, his state of health is threatened.
Jelena Trajkovic, Sladjan Trajkovic's daughter, says that they insist on bringing the investigation to an end.
“They obviously have no evidence against him and then they put it off. Our lawyer, that is, the father's lawyer, is not at all aware of how far the investigation has come. The prosecutor does not allow him to participate in any investigation, witness hearings... in anything. And whenever he submits a complaint about the prosecutor's work, no one responds to him," Trajkovic said.
