Milos Antovic sentenced to four years and 11 months in prison for attack on KFOR personnel

Milos Antovic from Zitkovac has been sentenced to four years and 11 months in prison and fined 20,000 euros for attacking KFOR soldiers during the unrest in Zvecan on May 29, 2023, after pleading guilty to all charges in the indictment.
The judge of the Basic Court in Pristina, Albon Kurtaj, read the verdict in Albanian, without translation for Serbian media.
The defendant and his attorney were not present at the sentencing.
Antovic, who had reached a plea agreement with the prosecutor before the court's decision and admitted guilt, was convicted of four criminal offenses: "Assault on an official person," "Participation in a group committing a criminal act – hooliganism," "Unauthorized purchase, possession, distribution, and sale of narcotic drugs," and "Unauthorized possession of weapons."
He was arrested on April 15 of this year in North Mitrovica, while the indictment was filed on July 30.
