Ana Delevic, the wife of the wounded Miljan Delevic, said that she feared for the safety of her family because she and her husband, who had been transferred to the Military Medical Academy today, were receiving threatening messages from Albanians on social networks.

"I'm afraid, how can I not be afraid, I have a little seven-year-old child at home," Delevic told Kosovo Online.

She pointed out that her profile was currently blocked and that she could not post or reply to messages.

She visited her husband today and stated that he had been transferred to the Military Medical Academy in Belgrade.

"For now, he is fine, he is conscious. I saw him for five minutes; they allowed me that much because he was in intensive care. They transferred him to the intensive care unit today, and I returned home," Delevic said.

She added that during the visit she had also met with the director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija, Petar Petkovic, who had told her that the Government of Serbia was committed to maintaining peace and stability in Kosovo.

Delevic again expressed her concern about the threatening messages, stressing that there were no competent authorities or police in North Mitrovica to whom she could turn for help and seek protection.

"I have nothing else to do but to put the key in the lock and to lock myself in the house. My son didn't go to school yesterday and today. He's in the first grade, he's small, children here are bigger politicians than adults and they understand everything, maybe he won't go to school next week either," Delevic said.

In yesterday's conversation, she told us that her son had seen on television that his father had been wounded and that it had been very difficult for her to calm him down.

Today, she told us that the little boy had written a letter to his father, which she had left to be given to the wounded Delevic.
