Strpce residents expect improvement and more jobs for young people after the elections
Residents of Strpce who exercised their right to vote in the extraordinary parliamentary elections this morning say they expect better living conditions and more employment opportunities for young people after the elections.
Toma Velickovic said that expectations are high after every election.
"I hope things will improve. Every year when elections are held, we hope for something better, but everything moves forward very slowly," Velickovic said.
Zorica Sibinovic expects a better life in the area.
"It should be better for all of us who live here. Young people need jobs," Sibinovic said.
Zoran Krsticic stressed that he expects a government in Pristina to finally be formed.
"These are the third parliamentary elections, and I expect a government in Pristina to finally be formed so that we can move forward. As for the position of the Serbs, I do not expect any improvement, nor do I believe the Serbian community will be better off. As far as young people in the Sirinic Valley are concerned, the lack of jobs is the main problem. It would be best if more young people could find employment," Krsticic said.
Novica Racicevic said he hopes divisions will disappear.
"I hope life will improve for everyone, that we will move forward, that people will calm down and that there will be no divisions," Racicevic said.
