Young people in Pristina: It is important to vote and bring about change
Young people in Kosovo believe that it is important to take part in the upcoming parliamentary elections in order to express their political views and bring about change, according to a Kosovo Online poll conducted in Pristina.
Genc, a young man from Pristina, said that he will vote because he believes change is needed in Kosovo.
“I will vote in the elections. It is important, because I think we have to choose wisely who we vote for, and I think we need change,” Genc said.
Amisa, a 20-year-old student, also said that she will vote and that she believes young people in Kosovo have prospects.
“I think it is very important that we go out and vote and express our opinion,” she said.
Sabit, a young man of Kosovo origin from California, said that all Albanians in Kosovo should vote, think things through, and make a change.
He also sent a message to Kosovo’s caretaker Prime Minister Albin Kurti, urging him to invest more in healthcare institutions.
“I would like to say one thing, if Albin Kurti somehow sees this. I hope that Kosovo will invest in hospitals. You can see millions of dollars being invested in hotels and so on, but I think one thing Kosovo needs to do is invest in hospitals and make them better,” he added.
Dijar, who now lives in Germany, will also vote on 28 December.
“I will vote. It is important for me. We need to choose our leaders,” he said.
