The Executive Director of the US Energy Dominance Council, Jarrod Agen, who met in Washington with Serbian Foreign Minister Marko Djuric, announced that they worked together to quickly find a solution for the Oil Industry of Serbia (NIS) that helped both Serbia and the United States.

“On a very cold Sunday morning this past December, Serbian Foreign Minister Marko Djuric reached out to me with an energy emergency. We worked together to quickly find a solution that helped both Serbia and the US. He was just a voice over the phone on a snowy winter day, until today. I was so pleased to welcome him in person at the White House. Minister Djuric is a statesman who cares deeply about the Serbian people and increasing the energy partnerships with the United States,” Agen posted on Instagram.

He emphasized that they had a productive meeting with Minister Marko Djuric’s team and Serbia’s Ambassador to Washington, Dragan Sutanovac, on a wide range of important energy issues.

“Huge opportunities lie ahead of us under US President Donald Trump, as our President is unleashing a golden age of energy abundance and driving strong new partnerships around the world. Great to see you, Minister Djuric! Here’s to the continued work ahead between our nations,” Agen stated.
