Antonijevic: Placing KLA flags on the fence of a Serbian church in Lipljan is unacceptable

Serbia's Commissioner for the Protection of Equality Milan Antonijevic assessed that placing KLA flags on the fence of a Serbian Orthodox church in Lipljan was unacceptable and called on the relevant institutions and international missions to investigate the incident and ensure the protection of religious sites and worshippers.

Antonijevic wrote on the social media platform X that all provocations directed against religious sites and the Serbian community must be unequivocally condemned.

He stressed that KFOR and EULEX have an important role in Kosovo in maintaining a safe and secure environment for all communities.

"Security, freedom of religion, and respect for religious sites must be guaranteed to everyone, without exception," Antonijevic wrote.
