The Minister of Defense of Croatia, Ivan Anusic, commenting on the reactions from Serbia regarding the establishment of cooperation between Croatia, Albania, and Kosovo in the field of defense, stated that the time when Zagreb asked Belgrade what it could and should do is over, adding that this will never happen again.

"We have been an independent country for 35 years, we have gone through five years of aggression and a policy that advocated such a narrative," Anusic wrote on the social network "X."

As he added, Croatia will sign declarations with whomever it wants.

"And the cooperation with Albania and Kosovo is focused on knowledge exchange, collaboration between military industries, and support for Albania's and Kosovo's Euro-Atlantic path," said Anusic.

The defense ministers of Croatia, Albania, and Kosovo signed a cooperation agreement in the field of defense yesterday in Tirana, which sparked reactions from Belgrade.

The Serbian Ministry of Foreign Affairs described the agreement as a provocation, stating that it would send an urgent request to the foreign ministries of Croatia and Albania for a detailed explanation regarding this move.

Serbian President Aleksandar Vučic stated last night that Serbia understood the message sent by the signing of this agreement, that he was very concerned because of it, but also that Serbia has its own doctrine by which it will manage to preserve stability and defend itself from any potential aggressor. Serbian Prime Minister Milos Vučevic also reacted, asking against whom this alliance is directed.
