Bjegovic: There is no concrete action by the international community except for messages that Pristina will be punished
Security expert Miroslav Bjegovic said that for now there was no concrete action by the international community, but only messages that the Pristina administration would be punished, Pink reports.
Bjegovic also fears that the security situation in Kosovo could worsen.
"Apart from the message that the Pristina administration and Kurti himself will be punished, we don't see anything else in action. Everything that Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic mentioned at the meeting with Stoltenberg, they already know," Bjegovic said.
As he stated, he did not expect that Pristina would work on de-escalation and that the two issues were crucial.
"There is no de-escalation from the Pristina side. It is a game that leads to nothing. For me, two things are crucial - that it is emphasized that Kosovo is no longer a political issue, but the number one security issue, which leads us to the conclusion that in the coming days, we can expect an even worse security situation in Kosovo. The second is whether KFOR will fulfill its basic task in the future," Bjegovic said.
