Brnabic: There is no agreement with Pristina, let them implement the treaties
The Prime Minister of Serbia, Ana Brnabic, stated today that no agreement had been reached with Pristina on the license plates and pointed out that the Serbs from Kosovo and Belgrade were also demanding that they be signed, implemented and respected, RTV reports.
Brnabic pointed out that Belgrade was worried because it did not see the outcome of the talks with the European Union and the USA in Pristina.
"Albin Kurti is saying that the Brussels agreement does not exist. These are bad signals. That agreement exists and should be respected," Brnabic told Tanjug.
She also pointed out that Belgrade expected the talks that the EU and the USA were having with Pristina to bear fruit.
She reminded that the rule of law was a European principle, that it was reflected in the implementation of the signed agreement, and that Belgrade had fulfilled its obligations a long time ago.
She also stated that according to the agreement on the number of license plates from 2021, stickers had been introduced and that it had been agreed that this would not be changed without the agreement of both parties, which Pristina unilaterally violated.
Responding to the Pristina's mention of 20 modalities, Brnabic said that they could have "as many as 120 modalities".
"I am not interested in that. Pristina should implement what was signed," Brnabic said.
