Djuric: Attack on utility companies and water supply facilities is an attack on the life and survival of Serbs in Kosovo
Serbian Foreign Minister Marko Djuric conveyed yesterday to the German Ambassador to Serbia, Anke Konrad, his concern about the situation in Kosovo, which has further escalated due to the latest unilateral and provocative actions by the regime in Pristina.
"An attack on key utility companies and water supply facilities is an attack on the life and survival of the Serbian people in our southern province," the minister emphasized.
He deemed it unacceptable that, in just the past three days, Kurti's regime carried out two raids on facilities of vital importance, thereby endangering the functioning of the entire communal, infrastructural, health, and educational system in northern Kosovo.
As he pointed out, Serbia is committed to continuing to strengthen and enhance cooperation with the new German government on existing foundations through regular political dialogue at the high and highest levels.
Expressing his belief that the Western Balkans, cooperation with the region, and further contribution to its stabilization and European integration will be at the top of Chancellor Friedrich Merz's government agenda, the minister stated that Serbia will continue to be a reliable and responsible partner to Germany in this part of Europe, according to the statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Serbia.
Regarding bilateral economic relations, the Serbian Foreign Minister expressed satisfaction with the exceptionally well-developed cooperation in all key sectors of the economy, particularly emphasizing that Germany is one of the largest investors in Serbia.
