Djuric: Cynicism of Kurti government — authorities born of illegal secession would lecture Serbia on international law
Serbia’s caretaker Foreign Minister Marko Djuric said that the Kurti government lecturing Serbia about territorial integrity would be amusing if it were not so cynical.
Djuric stressed that authorities that emerged from “illegal secession, that are shutting down Serbian institutions, violating religious rights and refusing to establish the Community of Serb Municipalities, should spare us their lectures on international law.”
“Serbia will resolutely and peacefully defend its people and their rights, as well as stability,” Djuric wrote on X.
Earlier today, Kosovo Foreign Minister Glauk Konjufca said that Serbia could not claim to be pursuing peace and European integration while its senior officials openly challenged Kosovo’s sovereignty.
“The sovereignty of the Republic of Kosovo is not negotiable, nor is justice for the terrorist attack in Banjska,” Konjufca said, calling on the international community to “unequivocally condemn these actions and demand accountability.”
