Djuric at the Founding Assembly of the Serbian-Israeli Chamber of Commerce: We will translate positive momentum into as many opportunities as possible
Serbian Minister of Foreign Affairs Marko Djuric attended this evening in Jerusalem the founding assembly of the Serbian-Israeli Chamber of Commerce, which brought together successful companies operating in both countries, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) announced.
On that occasion, he spoke with Israeli business leaders and representatives of that country’s institutions, as well as with the founders of the Serbian-Israeli Chamber of Commerce, about the steps that preceded its establishment, as well as the potential of this body in the context of the overall development of bilateral relations.
The head of Serbian diplomacy emphasized that this is a newly established business association of Israeli companies successfully operating in Serbia and Serbian companies in Israel, which represents a major and important step in strengthening Serbia’s position in Israel.
As he underlined, this positive momentum in relations between the two countries should be translated into as many concrete opportunities as possible between Serbia and Israel.
“I would like to thank all of you who are already doing business in Serbia, because you are doing an excellent job, employing a large number of Serbian citizens and contributing to both countries. Tell us how we can further support you in becoming even more successful. That is our job. We are here to open doors,” Djuric said.
On behalf of the Serbian-Israeli Chamber of Commerce, those present were addressed by Gili Dekel, one of the founders of the association, whose company has been successfully operating in Serbia for more than two decades, who pointed out the importance of establishing such a body for the development of business activities in both countries, the Ministry’s statement added.
