Djuric: Instead of forming the CSM, Pristina is carrying out ethnic cleansing of Serbs before Europe's eyes

Serbia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Marko Djuric, stated that today marks 12 years since the signing of the First Agreement on Principles Governing the Normalization of Relations between Belgrade and Pristina, commonly known as the Brussels Agreement.
Djuric reminds that at the heart of this agreement lie the provisions related to the establishment of the Community of Serb Municipalities.
"Yet, for 4,383 days, Pristina has consistently failed to fulfill its obligations under this key provision, thus seriously undermining its credibility as a dialogue partner. As someone who was directly involved in shaping the concept of the Community of Serb Municipalities and who led the Belgrade delegation through 221 rounds of Dialogue in Brussels, I must underline that a meaningful normalization of relations cannot be achieved without giving priority to addressing the status and rights of the Serbian people in Kosovo and Metohija," Djuric said in a post on the social network "X."
Djuric points out that today, Pristina fails to provide not only the most basic guarantees for the survival and fundamental human and political rights of Serbs, but it has also effectively turned the Serbian population into one of the most disenfranchised groups in Europe.
"The only path currently being offered to them is emigration through a silent campaign of ethnic cleansing, unfolding before Europe’s very eyes, with the aim of erasing the Serb people, their culture, traditions, and history from the region. I take this opportunity to once again call for the full implementation of the Brussels Agreement and a genuine return to dialogue as a means of creating conditions for lasting stability and prosperity in the region. Unilateral and uncoordinated actions against the Serb people – pursued for years by Albin Kurti’s regime in Pristina – must give way to a renewed commitment to dialogue and compromise," Djuric stated.
