“Trepca” takes over properties in central Zvecan that it claims are company-owned

Representatives of the Trepca company entered buildings in Zvecan this morning that they had put notices on around 20 days ago ordering them to be vacated because, according to the company, the properties belong to it.

Trepca workers arrived in central Zvecan this morning, where these buildings are located, and began putting up signs reading “Trepca Property” in Albanian.

The building where the sign was put up once housed the offices of Komercijalna Banka.

On August 13, Trepca workers left notices for Serb owners of commercial premises in Zvecan informing them that they should vacate the premises or provide documents proving ownership. The notice, written only in Albanian, also states that the premises are owned by Trepca.
