Djuric meets Sinirlioğlu: OSCE plays an important role in protecting Human Rights in Kosovo
Serbian Foreign Minister Marko Djuric met today with OSCE Secretary General Feridun Sinirlioğlu, with whom he discussed, among other issues, the situation in Kosovo. Djuric particularly emphasized the importance of the OSCE Mission in Kosovo, highlighting its significant role in protecting human rights and promoting interethnic dialogue.
“The Belgrade–Pristina Dialogue was also discussed, and Minister Djuric reaffirmed Serbia’s commitment to the dialogue, expressing hope that the conditions would soon be in place for the resumption of high-level talks, as well as for the implementation of the agreements already reached,” the Serbian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement.
Djuric stressed that Serbia maintains good cooperation and an intensive dialogue with OSCE institutions, thanking the organization for its support to Serbia in the reform process and on its path toward full membership in the European Union.
Addressing regional issues, the Serbian foreign minister underscored that regional cooperation is one of Serbia’s foreign policy priorities and that preserving peace and stability in the region remains one of the country’s key interests.
