Djuric: Serbia supports urgent de-escalation of tensions in the Middle East

Serbian Minister of Foreign Affairs Marko Djuric stated that Serbia supports the urgent de-escalation of tensions in the Middle East and strongly condemns Iran’s attacks on the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Gulf countries.

In a post on the social media platform “X,” Djuric expressed solidarity with partners, noting that security in the Middle East is of global importance.

“Serbia also strongly condemns Iran’s attacks on the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Gulf countries — the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, and Saudi Arabia. Any escalation further destabilizes an already fragile region,” Djuric stated.
