Djuric: Serbia–U.S. partnership further strengthened by platforms such as the Pupin Initiative
Serbian Minister of Foreign Affairs Marko Djuric attended this evening the Connectivity and Investment Forum organized by the Pupin Initiative, emphasizing that the strong partnership between Serbia and the United States is built not only through official dialogue, but also through ties in the economic, academic, and cultural spheres.
“At a time when relations between Serbia and the United States continue to gain in substance and intensity, as reflected in recent high-level exchanges with representatives of the U.S. administration, it is particularly valuable to see this momentum further reinforced through informal initiatives such as the Pupin Initiative,” Djuric wrote on the social media platform X.
He noted that, inspired by the legacy of Mihajlo Pupin, whose work left a lasting mark on Serbian–American relations, the Forum serves as a reminder that strong partnerships are built not only through official dialogue, but also through connections in the economic, academic, and cultural spheres.
“As the launch of a strategic dialogue with the United States remains one of Serbia’s most important foreign policy objectives in the period ahead, platforms such as this play a key role in fostering innovation-driven cooperation, encouraging knowledge exchange and entrepreneurial collaboration, as well as deepening interpersonal and institutional ties—all of which together form the foundation of any long-term bilateral relationship,” Minister Djuric stated.
The Forum of the Pupin Initiative was also attended by the Chargé d’Affaires at the U.S. Embassy in Belgrade, Alexander Titolo.
