Djuric: We will never forget the September 11 terrorist attacks in the US

Serbian Foreign Minister Marko Djuric paid tribute to the victims of the terrorist attacks in the United States on September 11, 2001, stressing that Serbia stands with its American friends in solemn remembrance of the nearly 3,000 innocent people who lost their lives.

“Twenty-five years after the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, we remember the nearly 3,000 innocent lives lost and honor the extraordinary courage of the first responders,” Djuric said on the X platform.

He said the terrorist attack would never be forgotten.

Twenty-five years ago, on September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks by Al-Qaeda Islamic extremists took place in the United States, in New York and Washington. A total of 2,977 people lost their lives.
