Embassy of Ukraine in Serbia: We have no information about the delivery of weapons
The Embassy of Ukraine in Serbia announced in a written response to the Voice of America that it "does not have any information" that Belgrade intended to send weapons to Ukraine, or had already done so.
The Embassy of Ukraine announced that it had no information about the delivery of weapons from Serbia and that it "is guided by the statements of Serbian officials".
"Thus, the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Serbia, Milos Vucevic, categorically and repeatedly denied the information about the delivery of weapons to Ukraine, stressing that Serbia did not deliver weapons to Ukraine, Russia, or any other party involved in the Ukrainian-Russian war. Previously, similar statements were shared in the name of the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, who also denied the possibility of a contract both with the aggressor and, unfortunately, with Ukraine, which was defending its country, freedom, independence from the Russian occupier, whose imperial ambitions were a threat to all countries of Europe," the response of the Ukrainian embassy to the Voice of America stated.
Earlier today, the US Embassy in Serbia announced that it had information that Serbia did not sell weapons to Ukraine.
Citing data from leaked secret Pentagon documents, the Reuters Agency announced that Serbia had agreed to send weapons to Kyiv or had already sent them. This was immediately denied by the Serbian Ministers of Defense and Foreign Affairs, Milos Vucevic and Ivica Dacic.
