Journalist Fitim Čeku stated that an intensive investigation lasting several months, linked to a broad propaganda network against Richard Grenell, revealed that behind this network lies a structured Russian spy group operating in the Balkans and Europe.

Çeku wrote on the social network “X” that at the end of 2024, an agent close to Russia’s FSB, Halit Sahitaj, created a group of people on social media—including Evi Kokalari, Vudi Jimshiti, and a group of secret agents in the Balkans—who spread propaganda against former ambassador Richard Grenell.

“This journalistic investigation managed to uncover and record many conversations that confirm and expose this group, which promotes anti-American agents in the Balkans. In an audio recording, Halit Sahitaj, a suspected Russian FSB agent, is exposed and admits that he encouraged propaganda against Richard Grenell, even using Albanian-American citizen Evi Kokalari,” Çeku noted.

He added that in the audio recording he also released, Halit Sahitaj says he is working to prevent Richard Grenell from taking any position in Donald Trump’s administration, while other audio recordings prove that he used the group to create narratives against Grenell.

Çeku announced that in the coming days he will publish more audio recordings revealing this network of propagandists.

“We already have several whistleblowers who will speak out about this scheme and tell the truth,” Çeku added.
