The Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) candidate for prime minister, Bedri Hamza, stated that the process of certifying the results of the February 9 elections was unnecessarily prolonged and that it should not be repeated in the future. He emphasized that he personally has no barriers with any political party or politician and is willing to talk to everyone, Klan Kosova reports.

"After a very successful election process on election day, I would like to thank the citizens of Kosovo for voting with dignity and without issues. They exercised their right to vote, and I am convinced that this serves the country, democracy, and its future," Hamza said.

He added that the lengthy certification process diminished the success of the elections.

"However, the process leading up to the announcement and certification of the results was unnecessarily prolonged, which to some extent reduced the success of these elections. I believe this is something we should be concerned about and must address to ensure it does not happen again in the future," Hamza said.

Hamza also stated that he is against "red lines" regarding cooperation with other parties in forming new institutions.

"During the election campaign, I was against red lines. I do not like these red lines. There are no obstacles to talking with any political party or politician. I am ready to talk to LDK, the Alliance, Nisma, and other entities," he said, adding that so far, they have not held discussions with Self-Determination.
