KFOR: We expect timely consultations on any action by Kosovo Police or KSF

KFOR has announced that its personnel were not involved in the recent operation to close branches of the Postanska Stedionica Bank in northern Kosovo.

According to the statement, KFOR was informed immediately before the Kosovo Police operations against the Postanska Stedionica Bank branches located in the municipalities of North Mitrovica, Leposavic, Zvecan, and Zubin Potok.

The statement emphasized that KFOR expects timely consultations on any actions by the Kosovo Police or the Kosovo Security Force (KSF) that could impact regional security.

KFOR also reiterated its support for the EU-facilitated dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina, providing the necessary security framework for diplomatic progress.

"This is the only way to resolve outstanding issues and reach solutions that respect the rights of all communities," the statement concluded.
