In an interview with TV Hayat, Albin Kurti stated that Serbia seeks to create a "lite version of Republika Srpska" and emphasized that there are more Albanians in Serbia than Serbs in Kosovo.

Kurti said that the issues in the region, including those in Bosnia and Herzegovina, were caused by the regimes of Aleksandar Vucic and Milorad Dodik, whom he referred to as "two satellites of Russia," Dukagjini reports.

Speaking about the CSM, Kurti claimed that Belgrade's goal is to exert control over Serbs in Kosovo, who would then have their own president, akin to what he described as a "little Dodik," and that it would make Kosovo dysfunctional.

"We will not allow this," Kurti stated, adding that the international community increasingly understands that Serbia wants to create a "lite version of Republika Srpska."

Kurti emphasized that Serbs make up only 4% of Kosovo’s population, contrary to Serbia’s claim of 40%.

"There are more Albanians in Serbia, from Subotica to Presevo, than there are Serbs in Kosovo. There are also more Albanians in Montenegro than there are Serbs in Kosovo," Kurti asserted.
